Shelter Dogs  Show Their Awesomeness During Uptown Funk Parody

These incredible dogs and the staff and volunteers at an Oakland Animal Shelter, East Bay SPCA show off why shelter dogs rock!

You can’t help but dance to Bruno Mars’ single “Uptown Funk”! This cool crew put a new spin on it!

The East Bay SPCA was established in 1874, with one goal in mind…… to save as many lost and abandoned animals as they possibly can.

To further their cause and to get more animals adopted they have made this hilarious video parody “Oaktown Pups” It stars the adoptable dogs and staff. They ham it up for the camera and promote animal adoptions and getting pets spayed and neutered. The opening sequence features Carla, a pit bull mix wearing aviator sunglasses. There is even a cameo from Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf and a dachshund on wheels. Too adorable. As if that’s not enough, the catchy lyrics will have you smiling.

East Bay SPCA noted “this is the debut of our lip dub vid #OakTownPups featuring +Libby Schaaf!”

All dogs in the making of this video were rescued and are awaiting adoption from the East Bay SPCA. These sweet hearts are just too cute and funny.

Please SHARE this video with all your friends on Facebook so we can help all these pups get adopted!

So get on your dancing pants and enjoy

Saving lives never sounded so funky! If you liked this video please SHARE SHARE SHARE! We want to get the word out that adopting pets is the cool thing to do!

Thank you to East Bay SPCA for making and uploading this brilliant video.
